By Jungle TelegraphOctober 25, 2024 Article 355 Views

A*teens celebrates their 25th anniversary with a remix of their iconic single «Dancing Queen», produced by Grammy-nominated Chris Varvaro for the Marvel film «Venom: The Last Dance».

A*teens Celebrate Their 25th Anniversary

Today marks an exciting milestone for the pop sensation A*teens, as they release a revamped version of their iconic single, «Dancing Queen». Remixed by the renowned American Grammy-nominated producer Chris Varvaro, this new rendition has been specially crafted for the latest Marvel blockbuster, «Venom: The Last Dance».

A Willingness to Revisit a Classic

For Ateens, revisiting ‘Dancing Queen’ 25 years after their debut feels like an incredible gift to their fans. They express, «It is extra powerful and big that it is also in the new Marvel movie, ‘Venom: The Last Dance’». Their return has been highly anticipated, especially after a two-decade break from the music scene.

Meeting a New Generation of Fans

Originally formed in 1998, A*teens quickly gained international fame with their unique take on classics from ABBA. Their debut album, «The ABBA Generation», achieved massive success, selling over 2 million copies worldwide. As they come back into the limelight, they invite both old and new fans to join them in celebrating their rich musical legacy.

In addition to their newly released single, fans can look forward to seeing Ateens perform live for the first time in over 20 years at a concert in Chile in January 2025. With various achievements, including the popular documentary, «Ateens: The Reconciliation», and past movie hits like «Can’t Help Falling in Love» for Disney’s «Lilo & Stitch», A*teens continues to capture hearts across generations.
