Da Buzz Unveils «Set My Heart on Fire»: A Musical Journey 20 Years in the Making

-

Da Buzz has launched their much-anticipated winter track «Set My Heart on Fire», featuring rich orchestral arrangements by the Prague Symphony Orchestra.

A Long-Awaited Release

In an exhilarating turn of events, the beloved band Da Buzz has finally released «Set My Heart on Fire», a deeply atmospheric winter song featuring elegant string arrangements recorded by the Prague Symphony Orchestra. This much-anticipated track rounds off a creative and successful 2024, marking a significant moment for the band and their fans.

The Story Behind the Song

The tale of «Set My Heart on Fire» is as compelling as the melody itself. Rewind to Salt Lake City two decades ago, when Henri Bonan acquired the rights to launch Da Buzz’s music in the United States. During this period, he discovered what he described as a diamond in the rough—a captivating ballad that had yet to see the light of day. Immediately taken with the song’s potential, Henri sought permission from Da Buzz to bring his vision to fruition.

An Ambitious Musical Project

This project transformed into a grand endeavour. The lush orchestral strings recorded in Prague, seven distinct guitar tracks, and drums laid down in Los Angeles all contributed to creating a rich soundscape. However, plans to release the song exclusively in the U.S. encountered delays, pushing its launch to the present day. Now, nearly 20 years later, listeners are finally able to experience the updated version of «Set My Heart on Fire». Da Buzz reflects on Henri’s dedication, stating that his heartfelt approach to music helped shape their sound and the unique bond they share.
