Varas Releases New Single «Skull»: A Deep Dive into Life’s Decisions
Check out Varas' new single «Skull», an introspective track examining how our choices shape our lives.
Introducing «Skull»: A Reflection on Choices
Varas is back with a compelling new single titled «Skull», serving as the first glimpse into his upcoming EP. This track invites listeners to reflect on how even the smallest decisions can lead to unexpected ripple effects in their lives. Collaborating with British producer James Dring, known for his work with celebrated artists such as Gorillaz and Lana Del Rey, Svaras employs a unique blend of musical styles to deliver a powerful message.
The Inspiration Behind «Skull»
The idea for «Skull» emerged during a deep and introspective session in London nearly two years ago. Varas highlights how even simple choices, like what kind of breakfast cereal to eat, can ultimately influence our future well-being. This profound insight spurred the creation of the song, emphasising that while life is filled with uncertainties, there is a belief that everything happens for a reason. The track’s energetic, drum-driven production marks a departure from the original ballad and rock concepts but retains the essence of those early explorations.
A Dynamic Collaboration
Back in Sweden, Varas dove into further experimentation, which paved the way for «Skull» to evolve into its current dynamic form. The track not only highlights Dring’s flair for production but also draws inspiration from DJ Shadow’s remix of King Gizzard, seamlessly merging different musical influences. Fans can look forward to more from Varas in the anticipated EP, as «Skull» sets the stage for an introspective journey through music and life’s intricate choices.
