On Friday, 25 October, a new chapter in electronic music was written with the launch of Sven Records, an exciting initiative spearheaded by the renowned Swedish event company, Studio Sven. Their first release is a vibrant single titled «Messing Around», showcasing a remarkable collaboration between talented Swedish producers, Fahlberg and Layer J.

A Platform for Nordic Talent

Studio Sven has always been at the forefront of the music scene, organising events and festivals that highlight emerging talent from the Nordics. With the establishment of Sven Records, the founders Thomas and Anders (picture) aim to provide a dedicated platform for Nordic electronic music artists to gain international recognition. «We have long wanted to create a place where we can highlight the music we are passionate about, and Sven Records is our way of doing just that», they share.

«Messing Around» is not just an introduction to the label; it is an energetic house anthem characterised by powerful drums, retro-inspired synths, and unique vocal production. This single perfectly reflects Sven Records’ vision of delivering quality electronic music from the Nordics.
