-

Pop icon Per Gessle teams up with Lena Philipsson for fiery new duet «Bad Blood», dropping 7 November 2025, as Roxette’s 2025 world tour blazes on with sold-out shows and rave reviews.

Roxette Rocks On: Per Gessle Drops Fiery Duet with Lena Philipsson Amidst Global Tour Frenzy!

Hold onto your leather jackets, pop-rock fans — Per Gessle is back and he’s bringing the heat! In the midst of Roxette’s globe-trotting, sold-out 2025 tour, the Swedish hitmaker has found time to cook up a sizzling new track with none other than Lena Philipsson. Their explosive duet, «Bad Blood», is set to drop on 7 November 2025 via Warner Music Sweden — and it’s already causing a stir.

From Tour Bus to Studio Magic

While most would kick back after electrifying crowds from Cape Town to Copenhagen, Gessle chose creativity over calm. Nestled in his coastal retreat in Tylösand, he penned the track alongside co-producer Alex Shield, channelling the adrenaline of the tour into a rock-infused anthem with attitude and bite.

«Being out on the road with Roxette again is pure joy», Gessle gushed. «And having Lena as frontwoman has been nothing short of sensational. She’s amazing!» He added, «I felt this song had to be a duet with Lena. It’s got swing, grit, and a proper Stones-y vibe. Hope you like it too!»

Lena & Per: A Match Made in Pop Heaven

Philipsson, known for her powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence, has been turning heads as Roxette’s leading lady on tour. Fans have been raving about her chemistry with Gessle — and «Bad Blood» promises to bottle that magic.

Roxette’s World Domination Continues

The Roxette in Concert 2025 tour kicked off with a bang in Cape Town, drawing over 75,000 fans across South Africa and Australia. Summer saw the band storm through Europe, with critics hailing the shows as some of their strongest ever. The autumn leg kicks off 4 November in Budapest, with the grand finale set for Norway before year’s end.

Backing Gessle and Philipsson is a dream team of musicians: Christoffer Lundquist, Magnus Börjeson, Magnus «Norpan» Eriksson, Dea Norberg, and Roxette legends Clarence Öfwerman and Jonas Isacsson.

Mark Your Calendars

With «Bad Blood» dropping just days after the autumn tour launch, fans are bracing for a double whammy of new music and live magic. If the buzz is anything to go by, this duet could be the next big Roxette classic.

Stay tuned, pop lovers — the blood may be bad, but the vibes are oh-so-good!
