Introduction to Arwin Ismail

Tonight, 17-year-old Arwin Ismail will take the stage in Melodifestivalen, showcasing his talent as one of Sweden’s most promising young artists. His entry, «This Dream of Mine», captures the essence of evolving dreams from the confines of his room to the grandeur of the big stage.

A Glimpse into His Musical Journey

This autobiographical song is a product of collaboration with renowned songwriters like Julie Aagaard and Jimmy «Joker» Thörnfeldt. With a unique blend of disco, pop, and electronic elements, Arwin is establishing a sound that is both personal and contemporarily resonant. He burst onto the scene just over a year ago, achieving viral success with tracks like «För bra för att vara sant» on TikTok, which quickly became a favourite on Swedish radio.

Despite his tender age, Arwin brilliantly manages to juggle his music career with his studies at Rytmus Music High School (Rytmus musikgymnasium). He is intricately involved in every facet of his creative process, from songwriting to performing on stage. Participating in Melodifestivalen 2025 as the youngest contender marks a significant milestone, and he is also set to join the Diggiloo tour this year, sharing the spotlight with illustrious artists like Medina, Ola Salo, and Uno Svenningsson.
